Meet Our Team
Founder/Owner
Vincent Perris Omozeh Oyagha, M.Ed., LPC, NCC
Hello, and welcome! My name is Perris Oyagha, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with compassion, integrity, and respect.
I earned my Masters in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia Southern University in May 2022 and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2018.
Throughout my career, I have served in a variety of settings, which include a University Counseling Center, Private Practice, and for a non-profit mental health organization. These experiences allowed to me support people from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of life experiences.
Clinically, I believe that the counseling process is a partnership that does not have a hierarchy where one is the expert and the other is the learner. My goal is to create a safe, client-centered, supportive, judgement-free space where you feel heard, understood, grounded, and empowered to grow.
Together, we will look to establish trust by developing a strong counselor-client relationship grounded in authenticity and acceptance while working towards meaningful, lasting change. When appropriate, experiential activities and evidence-based interventions may be incorporated in counseling sessions.
I am interested in working with people from all walks of life. I strive to work with individuals experiencing concerns including, but not limited to:
Anxiety, Depression, Grief and loss, Low-self-esteem, Career challenges, Identity Development, Relationship Challenges, Life Transitions, Systemic and Cultural stressors, Neurodivergence, Stress, Family Concerns, Trauma, College adjustment, Irritability/Anger, Adjustment, Religious/Spiritual concerns
I am passionate about increasing my access to quality mental health care for rural and underserved communities.
In my free time, I love spending time with my son, singing and playing the guitar, traveling, watching One Piece, and fishing and engaging in outdoor activities.
Whether facing a life transition, navigating a difficult season in your life, or looking for a space to better understand yourself, I would be honored to walk beside you on your journey towards healing and lasting change.
